About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter and Operator to join our team at Acorn by Synergie in Bridgwater. As a CNC Setter and Operator, you will be responsible for managing CNC turning equipment, from setup to operation, including checking of e-stops and other safety equipment as routine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce parts from information contained in job cards, reading and understanding technical drawings and tool cutting points.
  • Operate multiple CNC machines, including Fanuc and Okuma systems.
  • Inspect and batch inspect parts for defects, ensuring they meet specified parameters.
  • Run first-offs and check dimensions, making adjustments as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with CNC turning essential.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc operating system or Okuma machines desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and interpret information to produce a part.
  • Flexible to run numerous CNC machines and move between products.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range £29,500 - £29,700 per annum plus bonus.
