About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Wienerberger België. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults, and program Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Use various testing equipment to locate and remedy faults, and promote Lean thinking to improve efficiency
  • Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation and adhere to Wienerberger's quality system and standards
About You

We are looking for an electrically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, holding a minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering. You will have a strong commitment to safety, with experience of health and safety best practice.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is experience with electrical motors and pneumatics, and working with control cabinets and wiring of PLCs.
