Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager

Allen & York Ltd is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join their London team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior managers to implement the company's environmental strategy, driving behaviour change, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sustainability professional to make a significant impact on the company's environmental performance. The role will involve leading and managing the company's ISO14001 and 50001 certifications, conducting internal audits, and overseeing external audits. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and providing technical expertise to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, with experience in facilities or estates management. They will be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including senior managers, and have the technical credibility to advise on sustainability and ESG issues. Based in Central London, the role will involve working in an office environment, with some opportunity to work remotely.

This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to make decisions and will have a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
