Job Title: Work Experience Co-Ordinator

Maze 8 Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly organized and communicative Work Experience Co-Ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating high-quality work placement opportunities for learners on 16-19 study programmes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Visit potential or new placement providers to expand the range of placements for our students and conduct health and safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Meet deadlines reliably and work to a high standard, maintaining full confidentiality about all college matters at all times.
  • Co-ordinate work experience systems and processes, meeting the requirements of 16-19 study programmes.
  • Provide placement presentations for cohorts where requested.
  • Play an active role in the marketing and promotion of the College, with particular emphasis on liaison with external partners, employers, and other key agencies.
  • Develop new, high-quality placement opportunities and ensure that communication with employers is timely, effective, and contributes to high employer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with subject area managers, teaching staff, and assessment teams to ensure that work placements provide appropriate opportunities for learners to develop and be assessed in both core employability and technical skills relevant to that industry or vocational sector.
  • Keep and maintain a database of past, current, and potential work placements and monitor learners whilst they are on work experience placements.
Special Conditions:
  • The nature of this post means that the post holder may need to travel from time to time to all the College centres and to other external venues.
  • The post holder will be contracted to work for a defined number of hours per week but it is a requirement of this post that the holder will flex these hours to reasonably meet external needs which may include working evenings and weekends.
  • This post falls within the scope of the regulations requiring a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
