We are seeking an experienced Education Welfare Officer to join our team at Aspire People Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the attendance and welfare of students in our schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage attendance data and investigate any missing information to maintain accurate records.
- Update electronic registration systems daily and investigate any missing data with class teachers.
- Record student absences and late arrivals, ensuring accurate attendance records.
- Make initial enquiries with parents/carers regarding unexplained absences/lateness.
- Monitor student attendance and refer concerns to Pastoral Leaders.
- Promote good attendance within the school.
- Process and action student holiday requests.
- Issue routine correspondence to parents/carers regarding attendance/absence requests.
- Assist Assistant Headteachers with administration of referrals to the education welfare service/issuing of penalty notices.
- Liaise with external agencies regarding attendance.
- Collate attendance data and produce routine reports.
- Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, and security.
