Position Overview:
As a Field-Based HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing HVAC systems across various commercial contracts. This position offers a competitive salary along with a company vehicle, fuel card, and additional benefits.

Company Overview:
Join a renowned facilities management organization with a strong market presence. This role involves traveling to different sites in the Newcastle, Durham, and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and mechanical systems, including VRVs, VRFs, and split systems.
  • Work Monday to Friday with a standard 40-hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates. On-call duties are scheduled every seven weeks, with standby compensation provided.
  • Perform additional basic mechanical and building maintenance tasks as required, such as servicing AHUs.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade.
  • Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance within a commercial setting.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the operational areas.
  • Possession of C&G FGAS 2079 certification is essential.
