We are collaborating with a prominent global energy corporation seeking to recruit power portfolio managers to enhance their team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to the power portfolio management division, overseeing profit and loss, as well as the organization’s renewable energy assets, with a focus on medium to long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Collaborate closely with the origination and trading departments to maximize the efficiency of the company’s power portfolio.
- Develop, maintain, and refine analytical tools and position management systems, along with trading strategies for portfolio pricing.
- Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and potential cases.
- This role reports directly to the Head of Power Portfolio Management.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in portfolio management, portfolio specialization, portfolio analysis, or a related field, with a focus on the medium to long-term European energy markets.
- In-depth knowledge of the structuring and pricing mechanisms of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Familiarity with power trading analysis and risk management practices.
- Background in quantitative modeling and analytical techniques.
- Candidates should be based in relevant regions.
