About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day minor maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring a comfortable environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Differentiating between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required.
  • Ensuring equipment is used safely, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or repair role is desirable.
  • A range of practical skills, including maintenance and gardening.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Health & safety in the workplace.
