About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Decarbonisation Solar Project Manager to join our team at LASER Energy. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for overseeing renewable energy installation projects, ensuring client satisfaction and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in delivering commercial scale projects involving Solar PV installations. You will be able to survey large buildings, make accurate records of existing installed lighting and other M&E equipment, and have a high level of computer literacy to create and use complex spreadsheets or project management software packages.

You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of solar PV technologies, including modules, mounting systems, inverters, and monitoring systems.
  • Manage projects from conception through installation to final commissioning to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Ensure application of risk and issue management across the project(s), instigate mitigation actions, identify contingency plans, and manage remedial actions through to conclusion.
  • Conduct project meetings and attend programme and portfolio meetings, maintain effective working relationships to deliver high customer satisfaction.
  • Agree and Monitor snagging and handover process to ensure full project completion.
