We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced joiner to fill the position of Lead Joinery Supervisor at YourRetreats Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of our luxury lodges and ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of joiners and skilled labourers to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction and installation
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products meet our high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement effective construction processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a joiner with a proven track record of leadership or supervisory roles
  • Deep understanding of joinery and carpentry techniques, including woodworking and tool operation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Health and safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
