Role Summary

The Algorithm Engineer will leverage their expertise in mathematics, computational electromagnetics, and RF systems to enhance our antenna array systems. This position is open to candidates at all experience levels, from junior to principal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sophisticated mathematical models and algorithms for antenna array design.
  • Conduct thorough mathematical analyses to optimize the design and performance of antenna systems.
  • Integrate algorithms into both hardware and software platforms.
  • Design and implement innovative beamforming algorithms for antenna arrays.
  • Enhance beam control and scanning techniques to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Perform computational electromagnetic simulations to assess and refine antenna array performance.
  • Collaborate with antenna teams to incorporate designed algorithms into antenna modeling.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate beamforming solutions into wireless systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support clients in defining project requirements and planning.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, with a focus on microwave or mmWave antenna arrays. A strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and differential equations, along with a solid understanding of electromagnetics and antenna theory, is essential.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST EM Studio and HFSS.
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
  • Familiarity with beamforming techniques and RF systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to beamforming and antenna performance.
