The Peninsula Acute Provider Collaborative (PAPC) is a coalition formed by the four acute hospital trusts in the regions of Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. Our mission is to collaborate in delivering high-quality, safe, sustainable, and affordable healthcare services as locally as possible. We aim to stabilize vulnerable services, enhance care quality for the entire population, and transform healthcare delivery by eliminating organizational barriers.
We are seeking to establish a dedicated programme team to collaborate with Chairs, Chief Executives, Chief Medical Officers, Directors of Strategy, and clinical leaders across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. This team will be instrumental in executing our ambitious programme to reshape and enhance the future of NHS healthcare services. These roles will be supported by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.
The Programme Team will partner with clinical professionals to drive the design, execution, and delivery of the PAPC's strategic priorities, ensuring the collaborative remains focused on its vision while enhancing the effectiveness of relationships and operational arrangements among member organizations.
The Programme Leader will oversee specific workstreams within the Peninsula Acute Sustainability Programme, ensuring effective leadership and management to meet the programme's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the programme operations of the Peninsula Acute Provider Collaborative. Assist the Managing Director in executing all facets of the Peninsula Acute Sustainability Programme. Propel the strategy for the sustainability of acute services, ensuring alignment across the healthcare system. Advocate for reform and facilitate organizational change, promoting initiatives that support acute sustainability. Articulate and communicate the vision for acute sustainability, alongside developing strategic and operational policies to support this vision. Engage with key regional and national policymakers to inform the development of strategies and policies. Collaborate with partner providers and clinical experts to design innovative care pathways and models.About Us
