Android Developer/Engineer Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Android Developer/Engineer to join a financial services client based in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and debug mobile SDKs for Android platforms using Android Studio and Java/Kotlin.
  • Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications and/or SDKs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting problems with existing solutions, including bugs or crashes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, test, and deploy new Android mobile features in a fast-paced environment.
  • Write unit and integration tests to increase reliability and quality of solutions.
  • Complete documentation and procedures for installation, use, and maintenance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure all code meets high standards for quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • Designing, developing, and debugging mobile SDKs for Android or iOS platforms using mobile development environments.
  • Writing code, completing programming, and performing testing and debugging of applications and/or SDKs.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting problems with existing solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, test, and deploy new Android and iOS mobile features.
  • Writing unit and integration tests to increase reliability and quality of solutions.
  • Completing documentation and procedures for installation, use, and maintenance.
  • Participating actively in code reviews ensuring all code meets our high standards for quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
