The Role: Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our global workforce.
- Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Deputy Payroll Manager to manage starter and leaver processes.
- Prepare all SSP, Enhanced Sick Pay, SMP, Enhanced Maternity Pay, and SPP schemes.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Statutory Deductions (Tax, National Insurance, student loan schemes) and perform gross-to-net calculations.
- Maintain expertise in PAYE forms (P11D, P60, P45).
- Assist in monitoring the Payroll Support email inbox, responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct high-level checks on monthly processes, including reconciliations of spreadsheets for referrals, timesheets, and other activities.
- Supervise and reconcile commission claims.
- Produce P45 & P60 letter statements as required.
- Possess knowledge of Pension Auto Enrolment procedures.
- Manage monthly pension transfers, opt-ins, opt-outs, and ceasing active membership.
