We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Criminal Records Officer to join our Parks and Open Spaces Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the care of Coventry's green spaces, monitoring their condition, and identifying opportunities for improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess planning applications that may affect or include green spaces in the city, identifying opportunities to improve the city's biodiversity and amenity facilities.
  • Develop and deliver projects to protect and improve the city's green spaces, working with planners, developers, and other colleagues to secure funding or create new features.
  • Liaise with local resident groups, respond to enquiries from visitors, utilities, and other users of parks to ensure Coventry's parks and other open spaces continue to be a credit to the city.
  • Work with other stakeholders to develop parks and woodlands, including liaising with local resident groups and responding to enquiries from visitors, utilities, and other users of parks.

Requirements

  • Experience in green space management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
