Operations & Response Manager - Environmental Specialist

Job Summary:
The Operations & Response Manager will oversee the delivery of Water Quality & Ecology operations, including contracted pollution response services. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of staff, as well as achieving contractual service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational delivery of WQ&E response services, including reviewing operational practices and planning to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage the WQ&E response vehicle fleet, PPE & field equipment stock, and ensure a programme of maintenance and audited record keeping.
- Lead response to serious water pollution incidents, ensuring effective mobilisation of resources and coordination with A&A Group services.
- Responsible for the facility of Wokingham office, including fire safety measures, security systems, hygiene services, and lighting systems.
- Report and ensure compliance with internal KPIs.
- Form part of the Water Quality & Ecology leadership team responsible for the governance of the business unit.
- Help provide a safe, inclusive work environment for all staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining regular contact with existing clients in conjunction with the A&A Account Managers & Project Managers.
