Job Title: Compliance and Legal Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance and Legal Executive to join our team at Debenhams Ottaway LLP.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and award-winning law firm, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal support to our clients. As a Compliance and Legal Executive, you will be working closely with our legal team to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support to our clients, including drafting and reviewing documents, conducting research, and providing advice on legal matters.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis on legal matters, including reviewing case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to our legal team, including managing files, preparing documents, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of our firm's compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
