Job Description

We are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters for work within various business units at a leading defense contractor in the UK.

Using your mechanical experience, you'll remove, overhaul, and install a variety of mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, weapons systems, water and fuel systems, and LP/HP air systems, among others.

Working to engineering drawings and technical specifications, you'll also install and maintain complex mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove, overhaul, and install mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, weapons systems, and other complex systems.
  • Work to engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting and equipment installation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
