We are currently seeking a highly skilled **Senior Backend Python Engineer** to join our client, a subscription-based payments start-up in Central London. The ideal candidate will have experience building Restful APIs using Flask or FastAPI and working with Postgres and/or MS SQL databases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Implement and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with Flask or FastAPI and Postgres and/or MS SQL databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
