Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our in-licensing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our in-licensing strategy across both products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the in-licensing strategy, working closely with the in-licensing team and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with external partners, including academic, industry, and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Support the in-licensing team in executing agreements with partners to in-license products and technologies that align with Abcam's strategic goals.
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers and Product teams to ensure in-licensed products meet consumer needs and add value to the Abcam catalogue.
  • Monitor and report on KPI measures and targets for the role.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend conferences and networking events to build relationships and promote Abcam as a partner of choice for in-licensing.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a bachelor's degree in a life science discipline. You should have a strong understanding of the in-licensing process and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
