Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Law and HE Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Law and HE Programme Manager at West Herts College. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, while also managing our Business curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach on our FE and HE Law and Business provision, developing innovative and engaging learning materials to meet the needs of our students.
  • Manage student key performance indicators and work closely with the Head of HE and other leaders to support learners' achievement and progression.
  • Collaborate with FE tutors to improve internal progression and work with local employers to provide work-based learning experiences and GAP opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers to enhance our curriculum and provide opportunities for students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree essential, with teaching experience desirable but not essential as full teaching training can be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to work and a strong team player.
  • Ability to develop a wide range of learning materials and engage with students of different needs and abilities.
