We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Young People service in Ealing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their assessed needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers to promote social inclusion and independent living
- Work with customers to develop personalized goals and support plans
- Conduct regular key work sessions to achieve support plan goals
- Manage risks associated with customers in a positive and proactive manner
- Provide support with daily living activities and ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
- Develop links with local statutory and voluntary organizations to provide engagement opportunities for customers
- Empower customers to access the services and benefits they are entitled to
- Manage rent accounts and ensure customers pay their rent effectively
- Adhere to Look Ahead's health and safety policies and procedures
- Engage in learning and development activities to increase knowledge and skills
- Supervise Assistant Support Workers and domestic staff as required
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 1 year experience working with young people
- Desirable: experience of working in Ofsted regulated services
