About the Role

University College Birmingham is seeking an exceptional individual to join our dedicated finance team as a Financial Transactions Supervisor (Fixed Term for up to 12 months). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, centralized finance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete day-to-day activities of a busy Finance Office, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues in the finance team.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant qualification such as AAT (Advanced Diploma in Accounting) or QBE.
  • High-level attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
