Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Location: Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay
Hours: 20 hours, 4 on 4 off
Pay Rate: £ per hour
Job Overview and Purpose
This position involves working a Mon-Fri, 0600am - 1000am shift with additional hours as required. As an ABM cleaning operative, your role will be to deliver high-quality cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe down external and internal stainless steel on lift doors and frames, and clean mirrors.
- Runners wipe down and remove smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors, and clean restroom(s)/showers.
- Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Assist team leaders/supervisors when needed to ensure optimum service to clients.
- Perform additional duties as needed, within reason.
- Clear service corridors and back of house areas to ensure tenants comply with waste legislation.
- Keep service corridors and service areas clean and free from litter to prevent pests.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
