Hours: 20 hours, 4 on 4 off
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Job Overview
ABM is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to client facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe down external and internal stainless steel on lift doors and frames
- Runners wipe down and remove smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors
- Empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, clean shower cubicle partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors
- Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
- Assist team leaders and supervisors as needed to ensure optimum service to clients
- Perform additional duties as needed, within reason
- Clear service corridors and back of house areas to ensure compliance with waste legislation
- Keep service corridors and service areas clean and free from litter to prevent pests
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
