Job Opportunity for a Technical Trainer

Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) is a leading provider of workforce development solutions through education, training, and assessment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and assessment to learners of all ages in core mechanical skills, with a focus on electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a sound background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience in machining, turning, milling, and fitting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to learners
  • Develop and present training materials
  • Produce reports on candidate performance
  • Monitor and evaluate candidate progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve training objectives

The successful candidate will be a qualified engineer with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment. They will be proactive, organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
  • Driving license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive and organized approach
  • Experience in machining, turning, milling, and fitting
  • Ability to work to a QA system
