Nolan Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a prominent engineering organization that specializes in the design, development, and execution of steel frameworks.

They are seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer to concentrate on the design and enhancement of electrical control systems tailored for heavy lifting machinery.

This role offers comprehensive training, and the ideal candidate will possess a passion for Electrical Engineering and a desire to expand their electrical expertise within a professional setting.

This position is ideal for individuals eager to advance their careers while enhancing their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing electrical and control systems for heavy lifting machinery, including detailed specifications, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant electrical design and safety regulations, European directives, and legislation.
  • Executing projects by performing feasibility studies, installing, commissioning, testing, and operating equipment in both workshop and field environments, while also providing technical assistance to clients.
  • Documenting all activities undertaken, maintaining technical documentation, and delivering training sessions for clients on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge gained through studies in electrical system design.
  • Understanding of electrical principles, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Inventor or EPLAN).
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.

This role is suitable for recent graduates in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines, including positions such as Graduate Design Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, and Electrical Control System Designer.
