We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our First Contact Physiotherapy service as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. This role will involve working in primary care, collaborating with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals in rural general practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in a primary care setting, working alongside General Practitioners and other professionals. You will be part of a dynamic team based in practices across Fort William and the surrounding area, with links to the Lochaber Physiotherapy Team.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. You should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical care, with previous experience in this field.

This role requires injection skills and prescribing, and you will be expected to work towards completing both qualifications if you do not already hold them.

We welcome job share and part-time applications.

A full current driving license and use of a car for work purposes is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced physiotherapy services in primary care, working alongside General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal conditions, using advanced clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the First Contact Physiotherapy service, sharing best practices and expertise.
  • Work towards completing injection skills and prescribing qualifications, as required.
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a high standard of clinical care.
