Petroineos Refining and Trading is a leading independent refiner and trader in Europe, seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Development Projects TAR team at our Grangemouth site on a full-time temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engineering projects to meet HSE, schedule, cost, and technical performance targets.
  • Design and implement project execution plans that meet business objectives and agreed processes.
  • Develop project scopes and specifications that satisfy defined engineering standards.
  • Estimate project costs and schedules, and implement defined project controls to deliver management information.
  • Interface with project studies to deliver robust scope, cost estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage a project portfolio comprising several concurrent projects on the site.
  • Interface effectively with site managers and engineering contractor teams.
  • Identify and manage interfaces within the Project team, including construction, cost, and estimating teams.
  • Interface with Operational and Engineering teams to secure support for project implementation.
  • Manage uncertainty within each project and apply good change control practices.
  • Make informed decisions within area of expertise.
  • Represent the company at contractor and vendor offices.
Requirements:
  • Degree (preferably Chartered) qualified or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a project environment.
  • Good knowledge of project gated processes.
  • Experience working with NEC3 Contracts.
  • Knowledge of construction and commissioning.
  • Working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Understanding of the application of the site Plant Modification Process and associated documentation management systems.
