Substance Misuse Lead Nurse

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substance Misuse Lead Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team in Health and Justice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and support.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including pharmacists, Heads of Healthcare, and NHS providers. You will be an effective and visible leader, providing robust clinical substance misuse support and operational guidance to all staff.

The welcome payment is payable to new candidates joining Spectrum Community Health CIC.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the Substance Misuse Service, including coordination of patient care and provision of strong clinical leadership.
  • Assess, diagnose, provide advice, and administer care to patients, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and understanding of health issues and treatment options.
  • Lead a team of skilled substance misuse professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
