Job Summary:

FirstPort (UK) is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead our regional team in Scotland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for growth and commercial development in your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and commercial success in your region.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a regional team of property managers to deliver high-quality property management services.
  • Client Liaison: Meet and liaise with clients and customers to ensure excellent customer service and exceed expectations.
  • Business Development: Work with the business development team to develop bids for new business and product development.
  • Process Improvement: Embed new systems and processes to ensure FirstPort remains at the forefront of technology.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Factoring industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Has led large, geographically dispersed operational teams to deliver high-quality services and standards-led operations.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experienced in liaising with clients and customers, leading meetings, and using data and insights to make decisions.
  • Team Development: Able to build and provide leadership to a large team, developing future leaders.
  • Communication Skills: Confident, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all employees.
  • Process Improvement: Able to identify process inefficiencies and drive cultural and process improvement programmes.
  • Market Knowledge: Experience in or an understanding of the property market.
