About the Role

As a key member of our team at Enable Works, the Education and Skills Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering transformative education and skills programs for young disabled people across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the continuous improvement of learning outcomes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Oversee the strategic development and performance management of your region, leading a team of Employment Coordinators.
  • Build strong relationships with local and national funders, ensuring effective contract delivery and the achievement of key objectives.
  • Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities, working closely with the Head of Employability to expand Enable Works' services and impact.
  • Shape policies that support disabled individuals, manage regional finances, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Enable Works.
Requirements
  • A strong background in leading and delivering education and skills programs for young people, with a deep understanding of Scotland's employability and skills structures.
  • Experience in managing performance-driven teams and the ability to coach and motivate developing leaders to achieve high performance.
  • Strategic thinking and effective project management, with a proven track record in meeting financial targets and forecasting change.
  • A natural relationship builder, with the ability to partner with stakeholders and negotiate successful outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-management skills, and a professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate confidently and serve as a role model for your team.
