Job Summary

The Church Street Surgery is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse with the ability to operate within their professional boundaries to deliver comprehensive care for patients attending the practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis.
  • Treat patients wishing to see a healthcare professional, making any necessary referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team.
  • Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective, remaining within the boundaries of competence and acknowledging limitations.
  • Prescribe safe, effective, and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework and considering the Worcestershire prescribing formula guidelines.
  • Liaise with a doctor regarding patients with complex problems who need the expertise of a general practitioner.
