About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
  • Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices including the Reservoirs Act.
