Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic technical environment. This position is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in a hands-on leadership capacity within a technology firm that specializes in delivering innovative software solutions to energy providers, ranging from emerging startups to established enterprises.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a newly formed Agile team focused on enhancing features related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and credit assessments. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining backend systems using C# .Net and SQL.
  • Contributing to frontend development (approximately 25%) utilizing AngularJS, with a transition towards modern micro-frontend architectures in React.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Engaging in high-level architectural discussions and taking ownership of technical projects.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in software development with a strong focus on C# .Net and SQL.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with AngularJS.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms, particularly AWS, along with experience in Azure DevOps.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and working alongside other technical leaders.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
  • A solid grasp of contemporary software engineering best practices.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
