About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior PHP Software Developer to join our established Magento Software Engineering team.

This role is suitable for a candidate with up to 3 years' experience in commercial web development using PHP frameworks such as Zend, Magento, WordPress, or other PHP frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software architecture, design, coding, and technical development processes for building web applications.

You will have the opportunity to become a Magento Certified Developer and expand your knowledge of Magento.

You will work with experienced, established, and certified Magento Developers to increase your knowledge and experience in building eCommerce websites using Magento.

It is expected that you will be promoted to Magento Developer within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute code to projects individually
  • Peer review code created by other team members
  • Architect and develop new integrations and custom extensions
  • Review comprehensive functional specifications to meet architectural challenges

Requirements:

  • 3 years of commercial software development experience
  • Deployment scripting across development, staging, and production environments

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with any PHP-based framework
  • Linux, Nginx
  • Git-based source control
  • MySQL
  • JavaScript / HTML / CSS
  • Containers, Infrastructure as Code practices
