SensesWA is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in a community-based role. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, schools, and community settings, delivering interventions that cater to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work with infants, children, and adults with various disability diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorders and clients with vision and hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and certification by Speech Pathology Australia.
- Current drivers license, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen, and First Aid certification.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for working with diverse client groups.
