End-of-Life Care Specialist

Southern Co-op is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Funeral & Memorial Consultant to join our Funeralcare team. As a Funeral & Memorial Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional end-of-life care and support to our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide guidance and support to clients as they navigate the process of arranging a funeral or memorial service, ensuring that their individual needs and wishes are met.
- Funeral Arrangements: Coordinate and deliver funeral and memorial services, including arranging for the care of the deceased, facilitating Reflection Room visits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Community Engagement: Engage with local communities to promote the End-of-Life Services and Southern Co-op brand, building relationships and trust with families and individuals.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, manage funeral arrangements, and liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as needed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Empathy and Compassion: A high level of understanding, empathy, and compassion, with the ability to provide emotional support to clients and their families.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
