Job Title: Facilities Manager

Job Summary:

Nouvo Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Manager to join our team in London. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and presentation of our properties, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and presentation of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Liaise with residents and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of contractors and maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and operations protocols to ensure the smooth running of our properties.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and employment law.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting any maintenance requirements or incidents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation, health and safety regulations, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, stakeholders, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
