Wine and Spirits Category Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buying Assistant to join our renowned Wine & Spirits team at Harrods. As a key member of our commercial strategy team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing profitability within the Wines & Spirits category.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing category strategies, supporting product selection, and life cycle management.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure smooth execution of category initiatives.
- Provide data insights to optimize product assortment and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver exclusive products, events, and editorial content.
- Maintain accurate product data and pricing in collaboration with internal teams.
You will be a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for the wine and spirits industry. Experience of or exposure to buying, sales, or supply chain is a plus. You will also have strong analytical and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required. A willingness to undertake WSET qualifications is also essential. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
