About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our Supported Housing Young People's team at LiveWest. As a Lettings Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in effectively managing all referrals received for the Plymouth Foyer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming referrals to the service, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Triage and allocate referrals based on client need, utilizing a strength-based approach.
  • Accurately record client information on our internal systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Respond to enquiries from service users, professionals, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
  • Signpost to alternative support services where appropriate, ensuring seamless referrals and minimizing service gaps.
  • Carry out readiness assessments for new applicants to the service, determining suitability for placement at the Foyer.
  • Liaise with partner agencies throughout the referral process, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Minute taking for multi-agency meetings with professionals, maintaining accurate records and facilitating collaboration.
Requirements
  • Excellent administrative skills, with experience in managing referrals and client information.
  • Understanding of issues surrounding young people and homelessness, including associated risk management.
  • Resilience and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing needs and priorities.
  • Lone work safety and ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with service users, professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Effective organizational skills, managing competing demands and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality policies, maintaining a secure and respectful environment.
