Internship Overview

Leaders is excited to present a dynamic and enriching 3-month internship opportunity for individuals eager to gain invaluable experience within the sports sector. As an intern at Leaders in Sport, you will collaborate with the Marketing, Events, and Account Management teams to execute outstanding events and services. This role offers a unique chance to develop skills in commercial operations, marketing, account management, customer relationship management (CRM), and to work alongside a leading organization in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

Event Support:

  • Assist the Events team in crafting exceptional attendee experiences that meet audience expectations, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and drawing inspiration from various sectors to enhance attendance.
  • Contribute to the development of onsite materials, including branding elements and presentation slides.
  • Ensure event websites are consistently updated to reflect the latest developments in campaigns.
  • Support the management of the event application at Leaders Events.

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of Leaders' editorial communications through marketing platforms.
  • Help facilitate both in-person and virtual events as part of the Leaders events calendar.
  • Develop and maintain relevant marketing and sales materials to support campaigns and commercial objectives.
  • Manage and enhance sections of the Leaders website and membership platforms using content management systems.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Account Management Support:

  • Support the Account Management team in fulfilling partner agreements at key Leaders events, including managing registrations, sponsorship materials, and exhibition assets.
  • Assist with partner relations and CRM tasks, including updating management trackers, conducting client research, and compiling data for reports and presentations.

Candidate Profile

  • Self-driven, diligent, trustworthy, and committed to achieving objectives.
  • Dynamic, ambitious, organized, disciplined, and persuasive.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Interest in data analysis is a plus.
  • Passion for the sports industry and a strong desire to learn.
  • Currently pursuing a relevant degree or a recent graduate seeking entry-level opportunities in sports.
