As a Technical Artist on Frostbite, you will report directly to our Technical Art Director and contribute to the development of our newest procedural tools and workflows. You will serve as a liaison between engineers and game creators, helping to make our development process more creator-centric. Your expertise will be invaluable in improving the tools and workflows of our procedural systems, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and game teams to enhance procedural tools and workflows
  • Create, share, and maintain procedural tools and pipelines to accelerate game team workflows
  • Develop and implement procedural solutions and algorithms in a game or film production environment
  • Contribute to the development of at least 5+ years of experience in game development or the film industry, with a focus on procedural tools, Python scripting, and art pipelines

Requirements:

  • Experience creating procedural solutions and algorithms in a game or film production environment
  • Shipped 1+ games or similar within relevant industries
  • Experience helping others achieve their best through game development tools
  • Knowledge of Lua, C# or other scripting languages
  • Comfortable engaging and building relationships with multiple teams and individuals globally
