Job Opportunity at Henderson Scott

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team at Henderson Scott. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development and production of our product range.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad engineering experience, engage with partners, coordinate technology specialists, and develop advanced systems engineering techniques. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement complex systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain system architectures, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test complex systems, including systems integration and system design.
  • Lead the development of system requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and meet business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve system design and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in system design, development, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize system enhancements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in system design tools, such as IBM DOORS Next, Rhapsody, and SysML.
