Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrator / Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our Litigation team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing various aspects of Regulatory, Crime, and Family law services from our Swansea office, with a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Candidate Profile:
We invite applications from experienced Legal Administrators or Secretaries with a background of 3-5 years in Litigation or Regulatory/Crime sectors. We also welcome candidates with relevant skills and knowledge from other professional experiences or educational backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing digital dictation systems
- Drafting and modifying legal documents and correspondence
- Organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic client files
- Preparing various legal documentation
- Managing the opening and closing of client files
- Performing photocopying tasks
- Handling phone calls and relaying messages as necessary
- Coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Overseeing diary management
- Generating monthly invoices for legal services rendered
- Addressing client inquiries
Required Skills:
- Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 65 wpm
- Ability to produce large documents efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent IT proficiency
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational capabilities
- Adaptable and flexible work approach
- Experience with digital dictation tools
