Position Overview: We are seeking a Change Coordinator Team Lead to oversee the Body Electronics department. This pivotal role involves leading a team of change coordinators responsible for managing, planning, and executing part releases within the body electronics sector, including the management of change control processes. You will support your team with data entry, logical verification of details, and collaboration with engineering teams to comprehend changes. The role also requires executing the change process and addressing any arising issues. A strong background in learning and utilizing systems, along with the ability to instruct team members on these systems, is essential. Self-motivation is crucial due to the complexity and time-sensitive nature of the processes involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the release of multiple components while maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System.
- Assist in managing Change Requests and support the achievement of program milestones.
- Provide guidance and advice to the team to facilitate the completion of the change control process.
- Help resolve issues with component engineering and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet specified targets.
- Ensure all module documentation is current, including meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess prior leadership experience in an administrative setting, as well as familiarity with internal systems used to complete relevant tasks. Experience with organizations that utilize internal systems for documentation and administration will be advantageous. Background in engineering or program planning is also a valuable asset.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in using systems for processing documentation.
- Experience in actively securing approvals and navigating obstacles to ensure task completion.
- Strong administrative skills and relevant experience with internal systems.
- Familiarity with automotive components and their release processes, as well as financial change processes and release systems.
