About the Company

A prominent player in the food manufacturing industry, recognized for its dedication to quality, safety, and outstanding service. The company is expanding its operations and requires a committed Forklift Truck Operator to enhance the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the forklift to ensure peak performance.
  • Support inventory management tasks, including stock audits and maintaining precise records.
  • Systematically organize and stack products in designated areas to optimize space utilization.
  • Comply with all health and safety standards to uphold a secure working environment.
  • Assist with various warehouse tasks as required, including packing, labeling, and general upkeep.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Forklift Truck Operator in a warehouse or comparable setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
  • Physical stamina and capability to lift and maneuver heavy items.
  • Flexibility to work across three shifts and occasional Saturdays as needed.
