**Job Summary**

Adam Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead and supervise a portfolio of internal audit engagements and to work closely with the Head of Audit to develop the Internal Audit team in the UK and wider European business.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and supervise a portfolio of internal audit engagements to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Work closely with the Head of Audit to develop the Internal Audit team in the UK and wider European business, including identifying training needs and implementing development programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective controls.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, and ensure that the Internal Audit team is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field, with a strong background in leading audits and developing audit teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality audit results and effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks, and experience in developing and implementing effective controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
