The Role
Assisting the running of the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant in accordance with the hotel's standards and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Organise and set up the assigned section of the Food, Beverage and Kitchens as efficiently as possible to increase speed and productivity.
- Assist in the management of kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of service and quality of food.
- Contribute to the development of menus and recipes, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve targets and goals, including food costs, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and hotel policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong background in kitchen operations, with experience in a similar role. A degree in hospitality or a related field would be advantageous.
