Job Profile:

Fawkes and Reece, a leading contractor, is seeking a skilled Sub Agent to join their team for a major civil engineering project in North Wales. The project involves complex tunnelling and the construction of two large shafts, as well as associated civil engineering works.

The project has a lengthy life cycle, with completion expected in the near future. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in advising the engineering team on technical challenges, assisting in the production and integration of 3-week programmes, and managing designs from in-house and external designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to the engineering team to overcome complex challenges
  • Assist in the development and implementation of 3-week programmes to ensure project progress
  • Manage and coordinate designs from in-house and external designers to ensure project deliverables
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement effective construction methodologies and sequencing
  • Support the project team in resource, plant, and material planning and management
  • Train and mentor junior members of the engineering team to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities throughout the construction process
  • Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Technical Queries
